| Dear friend, |
I nearly did not answer this one, because the first thing I felt reading it was recognition rather than curiosity, and that usually means I am about to write about myself instead of about the person who sent it.
So I left it a day, then read it again standing up with my coat still on, and it held.
Priya has said I can use her name, and she has said I can use all of it, including the part she nearly cut.
Here it is, close to how she wrote it.

What Priya sent
She is at her sister’s wedding, in the second row, and a tooth on the lower left comes loose while somebody is speaking, so she moves it with her tongue and it comes away, and she swallows it rather than open her mouth.
Nobody notices, the speaking carries on, and she stays for the photographs and smiles in all of them, with a gap she can feel and nobody can see.
Then the album turns up later in the dream, and she goes through it slowly, looking for the one where it shows.
She woke at that point, and the line she nearly cut was the last one. She was disappointed it did not show.
